History

Ellers Mortuary in Kokomo, Indiana, was founded in 1924 by Howard W. Ellers. When Ellers died in 1952, his sons took over the family-owned funeral home, which was managed by Howard Eller's daughter-in-law, Mimi. After her passing in 1984, longtime employee, Philip D. Weaver, and Richard Myers, along with the support staff, enabled Ellers Mortuary to continue its history of funeral service.

Continued service

In 2016, Ellers Mortuary became a part of the Dignity Memorial® network, allowing us to offer exclusive benefits paired with support from a locally-operated funeral home.
